Lorne Guesthouse

Clovelly Illustration by Roy Coy

Clovelly was a guesthouse at 48 Otway Street. It was reported in Lorne News, as a recollection of Don Stewart senior, that “Miss Gaynor used to be the local librarian and lived at Clovelly. She used to take a short cut across what is now the football ground and people waiting outside the library (now the site of the present S.E.S building) would see Miss Amy Gaynor coming with the lantern swinging across the paddock.”
