June 22, 2022 Australian Surf Riding Championships held in Lorne.

June 22, 2022 Saturday, 15th July, Masonic Temple opened in Smith Street.

June 22, 2022 Friday, 26th October, first meeting of the Lorne Planning and Preservation League.

June 22, 2022 Thursday 1st July, Lorne Senior Citizens Club was formed.

June 22, 2022 The Lorne Central School became the Lorne Higher Elementary School . Students could now enrol in Form 4.

June 22, 2022 July 8th, Lorne Opportunity Shop moved to vacant SSB premises, open 11-2 pm every Friday.
